Overlock thread is a kind of thread used to make a seam that won't come apart. Serger thread is another name for this kind of thread. It works with all types of materials and is tougher than conventional sewing thread. When stitching knits, the three-thread overlock seam is most helpful. Woven fabrics can be sewn with it, but not in places that will be subjected to a lot of stress. Additionally, overlock thread can be used to create thin rolled hems, pintucks, and finish cloth edges. It is mostly utilised in the production of knit clothing but is also employed in sewing woven clothing.
